About Us
For seventy years Beisswenger's Hardware has been part of the northern metropolitan landscape. Beisswenger's has stood the test of time and now is one of the premier hardware stores in the Twin Cities.

Founded by Fred Beisswenger in the 1930s in the historic Cattlemen's Exchange Building, the store moved to its present New Brighton location in 1988.

Beisswenger's has operated using the motto, "If we don't have it, you don't need it," which means that you can always find what you are looking for, and if you can't, we will get it for you.


During the past 15 years Beisswenger's has grown into a hardware and power equipment superstore for the whole Twin Cities neighborhood. We carry products made by Toro, Lawn Boy, Snapper, Honda, Simplicity, Stihl, and many others as well as stocking products from Do-It Best.
